The Seasons Change & Following These Cycles to Restorative Health
I love chopping up these chioggia beets, they're always so beautiful and it makes the chopping that much more fun! 🍅I've been getting in lots more cooked veggies than raw with the changing season. 🥦What about you?😃 We’re approaching the autumn equinox, and a change in season brings in a change in our eating habits. We’ve been in Virgo season, which has everything to do with our habits and our health. 💪So I know you’ve been getting triggered around your health habits, and perhaps even changing some. But if you haven’t fully engaged, this is the time of year to do so, as we reach that balance point, the time of Libra season. 🌓✨
Making Healthy Muesli
I love making my own muesli. And the reason I love to is that I can make it healthy, save money, and not have anything with added sugar in it to ruin it for me. It is unbelievably hard to find a healthy breakfast cereal, but this is it. And the small amount of time it takes me to make it every two weeks is worth it.
It’s Been a Long and Conscious Journey To Be Where I’m At Today…
People see that I look and feel happy, and I often do. It's been a long and conscious journey to get here, and I love sharing with others how to do this too.
Our bodies and how we operate within them are so connected to our traumas and experiences in our youngest days and throughout childhood. When humans are triggered with trauma, they cope through various ways which always equates to some kind of numbing. And so we can learn to eat to numb things more, or we can learn to not eat, or so many other things become problems with physical manifestations as we age. This is part of the human experience, but we can learn what our triggers are, and our coping strategies through awareness.
Ready for Fall? Is Your Earth Element in Balance?
The earth element rules our time between seasons, and in the northern hemisphere we are in the late summer, that time between summer and fall. This means we must take extra care to build our earth element, which correlates to our stomach, spleen, pancreas and the lymphatic system. What kinds of health practices do you currently have in place? What messages is your body sending?
You Always Have The Choice To Change But now is the time! ;)
We always have the choice to change, and now is the time to either figure out what that is, or make the change. We are all feeling that inner calling, and if you’re not, I will lovingly say that you’re stuck in distraction. And the more we distract, or don’t listen to our soul’s calling for that change, the harder the lessons will be and the bigger the pain or wake up call.
Traversing the Unknown and Finding Your Center
All of us get to a place in our lives where we are faced with a difficult trail or road ahead of us. It’s in times like these that we stop and take inventory. We find we have to make a decision or get more informed to take the risk and take the road unknown. We can also choose to keep going down the road we were taking before. Usually we are already feeling that this isn’t going to work for us, but there is always free will. And there’s no right or wrong way to go, because whatever lesson we are meant to learn will continue to appear until we get it. But I think you, and most people I know want to choose the path of growth even if it does look daunting.
