Spring Energetics 2022
Welcome to Spring!! We made it through the darkest days of the year, and are coming into days with longer and longer daylight! The flowers are blooming, the trees are budding and greening, the feeling of energy rises and seems to be telling all of us to grow!
We may have noticed since this is eclipse season that we are looking at letting go of or transforming in some aspect of our life. Some of this energy is an impetus to grow and can be triggering. While triggers are an invitation to look at something deeper in order to heal, they certainly don’t feel good. The pain in fact, can be excruciating, and if you’ve been around people who are pushing these buttons, it’s important to allow yourself space and time alone, to feel this pain, and breath. Sitting with this and feeling it is important so we don’t have stuck emotions in the body. You’ll want to process this later with me or another trusted coach or counselor, and journal about what is coming up to help you release more too.
The spring is governed by the organs of the liver and gallbladder, and their corresponding emotions of anger, frustration and resentment. We don’t want this energy to stay stuck within us. Underlying these emotions is always sadness, and maybe for you the initial feeling is of fear or anxiety, coming up to help you see what needs to be healed. However this looks for you, these are opportunities to allow something that is held within you to be released, and to dissolve. Old beliefs and patterns from childhood are wanting to be let go of, as well as ancestral patterns that are stuck in our body. Doing this inner work of letting go is what I refer to as shadow work. See my Ancestral Alchemy Journey or my Transmute to Transform course below if you’d like to have me as your coach to alchemize and shift these patterns. Amma Therapy, my energetic bodywork, will also move these emotions and energies out of the body.
As the yang (active) energy rises with the spring, we will have to ground ourselves to balance these emotions that may want to erupt up and through us. To ground, go outside daily and put your hands and feet in the grass, on a tree or on the dirt. Smell nature. Get moving the body in nature with an activity that is joyful for you. Touch the plants at the park, or in your yard. We can get so much healing from simply being and connecting to plants and nature.
Spring Blessings of Growth and Radiance,
Tanya
