We All Face Mental Health Challenges and Here’s What We Can Do

Culturally we like to place the term “mental health” on the other. And while there are varying degrees of this for us, we all at one point or another are faced with mental health challenges.

I’m passionate about natural approaches because I dealt with depression and low mood due to food issues as a teenager and in my 20’s, and then went through mental health challenges when I had hyperthyroidism and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me for over a year. A lot of this mood imbalance in my life was due to a lack of whole and clean foods, micronutrients, the right supports with relationships, and not getting my needs met.

During my early 20’s I tried non-natural approaches a few times, but always suffered consequences for it with my overall well-being, and every time I chose natural ones, I triumphed, and ultimately I conquered the depression. I also healed my hyperthyroidism and am not on medications.

So what if we could see that most people who are faced with such mental health challenges are also just lacking some basic needs, whether it’s a loving friend, a job that feeds their soul, clean food that nourishes the body, or movement to stretch, strengthen and move stagnant energies out, etc. What I have learned are many easy things that we all can do to get into a healthier state sooner, and I want to share these with you.

There are many other ways to assist ourselves with healing our mental health, and here are some guidelines: Getting out and doing earthing (placing our bare feet on the earth, or hands on a tree) is a huge one that we all can do daily. Taking D3 if you have SAD, or when it is cloudy or smoky or you don’t get outside in the sunshine much is another imperative. Hydrate with clean water and sea salt when you wake up and hydrate throughout your day with herbal teas or water. Get a water filter if you can and avoid bottled water. Eating more leafy greens, fruits, healthy proteins, fats and some whole food carbs and staying away from processed foods and sugar as much as you can will ultimately give you strength, energy and longevity.

Moving our body is necessary too, and not doing so can lead us to having pent up anxiety, anger, frustration, as well as pain if we don’t move it properly, and in ways that feel good for us. I especially recommend walking, stretching, gentle yoga, Qigong or Tai Chi. Even biking and hiking for those who are able to.

One thing I’ve learned through my healing process is that parasites are a problem for everyone, and they cause us both physical and emotional pain when we don’t do regular cleansing. Parasite overgrowth plays an enormously huge role in mental health issues, and this is why during full moons people have more behavioral issues. The over-growth of parasites really does happen during this time, and this is scientifically proven, not just theoretical. There was a time when people all did parasite cleanses, and I’ve been passionate about leading us back to this.

We all can avoid chronic headaches, skin issues, anxiety, depression, fatigue, anger issues, autoimmune issues, bloat, gas and digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, food sensitivities, allergies, grinding teeth, ringing in the ears, cancer, MS, and so much more by actually just ridding ourselves of an overgrowth of parasites.

If you have never cleansed before, I lead groups twice a year to assist you in doing this in a way that makes it super easy. I’ve had great results with many clients and am excited to bring you the Fall Into Yourself Group Parasite Cleanse beginning October 1st for a 30 day cleanse, as well as up through October 7th if you want to do a 21 day cleanse. During this cleanse you’ll clean up your diet from sugar, eat foods that satiate you, and most importantly gain new healthy eating habits that will serve you throughout your life, along with letting go of these critters that actually do serve us, but that we don’t want to have too many of either.

All the details are in the link below and I’m here to serve you if you decide you want to say Yes to this opportunity to feel even better. There are 3 Tiers to choose from, and a sliding scale available too. Here’s to saying yes to health, to feeling good again, and to living your greatest life!
