It Takes a Lot of Self-Love

I’m finding that what I coach when I’m working with clients is that self love is at the root of everything we do that benefits ourselves and our healing, alignment and empowerment, which is what I’m all about helping people achieve. While self love sounds easy, it really takes a lot of courage, awareness and shifting to allow the growth to make the needed changes to step into greater self-love.

And with changes or as transitions come up in life, (as all of our souls will ask us to do), we have to continue finding new ways to create flexibility and bring in greater consciousness. We can find that shifts in perception, creating new routines, and bringing in new self-talk, self-care and mindset is necessary. This can even happen when we take a vacation, and with it being summer and many of us taking more time to travel, this is a perfect opportunity to try out how we’re doing so we can continue to check in, and get support if we need to in order to finally find that path of least resistance.

Recently I had new clarity around guilt coming in when I was having my cycle and was doing my cycle syncing. With this practice, when I’m on my period, I allow myself to do less and rest more, do a shorter gentle yoga practice, or even take a day off. I also let myself get up a little later on a weekday. This was good for my body, but I had to really work through feeling guilty around what appeared as a lack of productivity.

I continue to catch myself in ways like this where I continue to tell myself it’s okay of where I’m at. On my recent vacation, I also felt similarly where I would allow myself to take a slower start to the day, which then meant I didn’t get on a hike early, but I recognized that I took the time I needed and wanted for sleep, for a slow start, and then adjusted my hiking schedule accordingly. And at the end of the day, I felt good about what I accomplished.

Last of all, my self love came into play as I wasn’t doing my breathwork yoga, and this started a cycle of low energy, and then it was hard to get back to it, but once I realized I was experiencing so much low energy from not doing this and not enough cardio, I was able to recommit.

Pranic Breathwork Yoga is such a powerful and effective way to increase energy. Come join me Wednesdays at 7am and Fridays at 7:30am through the link below or text me by the day before.

As you can see, the allowing to do things different, the ability to flow with awareness through the guilt, and to let it pass, along with making new shifts in my planning and day were ways I continued to lean into greater self-love. I have not always been so flexible with myself, and it has taken a long time to get here, and it’s one of the ways I joyfully coach my clients with little steps to get there.

This is why I often work with people more in-depth with accountability, as we need to have that regularity of coaching for reminders, for making those little shifts that eventually amount to larger ones. And it’s such a joy to see how much gains each of you make as I lead you through this process.
