Are You Ready To Reconnect With Nature And Your Body?

My life in my twenties was a pretty average American life. For many years, I was going to school and working, filling any nook and cranny in between with socializing, partying, the next music show and in the nicer months, camping and hiking. I rarely took the time to really slow down and do what I wanted beyond my hiking, because there wasn’t time. You see, I was trying to get my needs met. Once I graduated and began my career, I kept up a similar routine where I rushed to get ready, to make it to work, and then after work I made time for friends and outings. It took me getting sick in my early 30’s to reevaluate how I was spending my time. I stopped partying before that, and had begun do daily meditation and mindful movement. But when my hyperthyroidism hit, I had gone back to school again; always in “do” mode.

Life is supposed to be easier than this and flow more. We all have times in life that become busier, such as when we start a family or a new job. And, we can create routines to make life about less rushing and being present more. This is something I feel passionate we can each achieve if we truly want it.

My choice to become self-employed 7 years ago has allowed me to learn new routines and habits where I no longer rush, but now take my day with ease. Yes, I still have days when I work 9-10 hours, but most are 7 to 8 hours. I take breaks outside when I can, and I sit with my food and enjoy it consciously. I have dropped away the guilt that came with “doing” less, making my own routines, and prioritizing what is truly important. I make a lot more healthy choices every day. This is a journey I have been on for 9 years. I chose to follow a holistic lifestyle and learn to heal me. I didn’t get here over night as you can see. You can make this choice too.

Out of this journey of mine, in finding more presence and embodying more health, I have found these tools that I love sharing with you all. We all can make steps towards healing and self-love. I have designed a way for you to embrace this path with me, and with a group of others seeking the same. Together, in nature, we can thrive in our bodies, and begin new habits. Join me in the Four Corners this September, as you step into your divinity and return to nature. When we spend more time in nature and are present, we flow and bring in more abundance.

This retreat will be a time out for you to deeply relax and nourish your body. We will have daily Shakti Naam yoga, plant-based meals to increase your vibration, and the gorgeous backdrop of Mesa Verde and Canyons of the Ancients to go play and hike together in. We will be spending 5 nights and 6 days at the Sophia Retreat Center, where we can walk a labyrinth, do ceremony and meditate in the evenings, and be held by the sweet Colorado air. In addition, I want you to learn how to get your needs met and to have healthier relationships through Conscious Communication, which I will be teaching 2 days. To gain those healthy habits, I’ll be sharing with you 2 days of classes on Conscious Eating through Chinese Medicine food energetics and the 5 elements system. This whole body retreat will allow you to reset, and step forth into this life where you will be more present, thrive and feel connected. Let me know if you are ready to join me in September!

Cheers!
